If you can demonstrate excellent field sales and relationship management experience and are looking for the step up to national sales, this could be the role to take you there.

This is a strong, longstanding business is based in South East England. A real trusted name in the industry which boasts a healthy balance sheet, continuous development plans, a supportive collaborative culture and a range of some of the UK's most recognised animal food brands. Although this business supply into the ruminant, pet and equine sectors, your time will be largely focused around the dairy sector therefore a strong understanding of the UK dairy sector is essential.

I would like to speak to people who can demonstrate prior experience animal feed sales looking for a new challenge. You will work closely with the National Sales Manager to grow and develop the sales of the UK and wider markets.

You will be well rewarded if you are the right person for this business and role, there is a strong salary package on offer to reflect prior experience and ample room to grow within the business.

You will:

  • Manage and grow existing sales and develop new sales opportunities in the UK and global markets.
  • Maintain and grow target margins/profitability.
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget.
  • Undertake a high level of national farm and customer visits to achieve business growth requirements.
  • Negotiate and purchase supplies of raw materials from producers across UK and Europe as well as managing the relevant logistics. 
  • Manage all day-to-day marketing, PR and promotional activity for the agricultural sector with the company's marketing team.
