Trainee Herdsperson / College Leaver

An opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated team who look after a herd of 500 grass-based dairy cows, by feeding and milking the cows and calves.

You will join the team and learn the skills of a herdsperson by working closely with the current team members, who will give you time and teach you the skills to learn on the job.

The cows spend most of their time outside, so a love of the outdoors in all weather is necessary.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, willing to work hard, be a good time-keeper, willing to listen and learn and have a good attitude.

Excellent on-farm shared accommodation is available to the successful applicant.
