T Level in Agriculture, Environment and Animal Care

September 2024

The T Level became available in September 2023. It's an option for 16+ who are leaving school and what to try something different to A Levels. 

They are a two-year programme providing an alternative to apprenticeships and A Levels. T Levels are a level 3 qualification; one T Level is roughly equivalent to three A Levels.

 Level 1 Diploma Land-based Studies (Agriculture)

September 2024

The Level 1 Diploma provides an introduction into agriculture, with a focus on the care, health and management of livestock and crops and an introduction to machinery operations.

The aim of the course is to develop the basic practical skills that are required on a farm this will be through a series of practical and written assessments.

Level 2 Technical Certificate in Agriculture

September 2024

This Level 2 course will provide a comprehensive introduction to agriculture and the associated Industries. It is extremely popular with school leavers who wish to combine a practical based training programme with theoretical knowledge about farming.

You will gain a broad understanding of agriculture, with a view to progressing to one of our Level 3 Diploma courses, or to start work in the agricultural/land-based industries.
